How to Safely Tweeze Hair From Your Boobs

A how-to to help you!

If you decide you want to remove the hair from your boobs, make sure you do it very carefully! If you’ve got a couple of hairs that are thick and dark, you can pull them out easily. Here’s how to safely remove them:

  1. Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
  2. Use tweezers to grab the hair near where it comes out of the skin.
  3. In a quick, swift motion give it a yank.

If you see lots of thin, wispy hairs, it may be a smarter bet to leave them alone. Our skin likes to have very thin hairs to keep it warm, and pulling lots of these can cause irritation. Never shave the hair on your nipples or breasts and don’t use hair removal lotions (called depilatories) either, because these techniques can cause irritation, rashes, or in the case of shaving small cuts in very sensitive skin.

Remember, choosing whether or not to remove any hair from your body is a personal choice, so do what’s right for you.
